Hats off to Jim Plowman

A True Story: My son Jeff is home from college for the summer & his wheels are my 1997 mini van, the “loser cruiser”!   On Friday afternoon, the van overheated (low on coolant) so Jeff stopped at the fast oil change place to have it topped off. The mechanic inspected and diagnosed the problem – a leaking radiator. We took it directly to the mechanic we have used for years, Jim Plowman at J & J Auto in Anoka.  Jim said he could replace the radiator on Tuesday but on Monday morning Jim called me & the “loser cruiser” was ready for pick up.   It did not need a radiator, just a HOSE! Final result: faster service than my expectation and at a cost for hundreds less. Sure, he could have replaced the radiator & I would have never known, but he values his customers and he runs his business with integrity. That is why we have taken our vehicles to J & J for years.
